The maintenance fitter with Clariant (NZ)Ltd, uses the Stratalign crane to lift dies out of injection moulding machines in the company’s laboratory. He sees the biggest benefit as being able to use the lifting device in a confined space.
“The gantry crane has also taken the place of manually lifting dies – which helps prevent back injuries.”
